Moises Hernandez

Meet the newest addition to the Braves farm system. Moises Hernandez is coming over to the Braves as compensation for losing Leo Mazzone. At least Hernandez has a bloodline as his younger brother goes by "King Felix". Unlike King Felix, Moises is small in stature but possesses a live arm with an upper 90's heater and a slider. He has played one year each at low rookie, advanced rookie, and single-A ball with Baltimore's organization. So far his stats have been somewhat impressive with 9.57 k's per 9 this year and has given up only 6 homers his entire professional career. However, like most young pitchers at A ball, it is hard to say whether or not he will develop. He has some tools so hopefully he can. Also remember that he is Felix's older brother but is still just 21 and I look forward to watching his development.
