7/17 Recap

AAA - Richmond 2, Ottawa 4
Brian O'Connor (L, 4-9) pitched a decent game but got the loss as the offense failed to drive in runs despite 9 hits. Gregor Blanco had another good game with 2 hits and a walk. Cesar Crespo went 1-4 with a home run. Tony Pena Jr. also raised his average to .287 by going 2-3. Wayne Franklin continued his good work out of the pen with a perfect inning and one strikeout. I think the Braves should have given him a shot instead of calling up Peter Moylan again.
