Minor Roster Moves

J.C. Holt will be activated from the disabled list by the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. In order to make room for him, Jose Ascanio (left) will be promoted to Mississippi. Ascanio has had a somewhat disappointing year considering he was an outside shot to make the major league bullpen in the spring. He is 1-1 with a 4.94 ERA in 6 starts. In 31 innings, he has walked 20 and struck out 23.
