AA - Mississippi
The offense failed the Braves is Mississippi fell in a close one, 1-0. David Coggin went 5 innings and Jose Ascanio and Arthur Santos each pithed 2 scoreless innings in relief. Gregor Blanco had 2 hits and stole his 16th base. Matt Esquivel also had a hit and a steal. Salty went 1-3 to raise his average to .216. Aurthur Santos has yet to give up a run since his promotion to Mississippi.

High A - Myrtle Beach
Matt Harrison pitched the Pelicans to victory in the first game of a double header. He gave up 7 hits in 5.2 innings but only gave up 1 run. Moises Hernandez got the save despite giving up 2 runs in 1.1 innings. Matt Young has been on a tear lately and was a home run short of a cycle in game 1. He drove in 2 runs in the process. J.C. Holt lead off and scored twice.
Myrtle Beach 4, Salem 3
Kelvin Villa pitched the Pelicans to a double-header sweep by giving up 2 runs in 5 innings. Steve Russell and David Watkins pitched the final 2 innings in Myrtle Beach's 3-2 victory. J.C. Holt went 2-4 with a double and a run. Matt Young was 1-1 with a walk and a sacrifice.
Myrtle Beach 3, Salem 2
Low A - Rome
Rome also played a double-header yesterday. Jo-Jo Reyes pitched a 7 inning shutout in game 1. Reyes is now 8-1 with a 2.99 ERA. Derrick Arnold and Quentin Davis scored the only runs of the game for Rome. Max Ramirez and Kala Kaaihue combined to go 0-6 with 5 k's in the first game. Eric Campbell went 2-3 as did catcher, Cody Clark.
Rome 2, Augusta 0
Asher Demme pitched a complete game in game #2 but suffered the loss by giving up 3 runs in 6 innings. Max Ramirez drove in Quentin Davis for the only run of the game. Ovandy Suero stole his 31st and 32nd bases of the season as well.
Augusta 3, Rome 1
