Notes 6/15

• Chris Vines has been placed on the disabled list shortly after being named to the South Atlantic League Southern Division All-Star Team.
• Speaking of the All-Star team, Rome is well represented this year.  Jo-Jo Reyes and Chris Vines were selected as pitchers for the All-Star team.  Max Ramirez is the starting catcher, Kala Kaaihue is the starting first baseman, and Eric Campbell is the starting third baseman.  Elvis Andurs has also been selected as a utility infielder for the All-Star game.
• More bad news for Jake Stevens.  Jake has been demoted and suspended for flipping the ball to the manager after being taken out of a game.  He had made a couple of decent starts lately but his overall stats are ugly (1-6, 6.41).
• Matt Harrison is the lone representative for the Pelicans at the All-Star game.
