Rome actually played a double-header yesterday because of the rainout on Wednesday. Beau Jones returned from a short stint on the DL to start the game. He gave up 2 hits, 1 run, and struck out 5 in 4 innings of work. Rome won the game 3-1 as Tyler Bulluck tossed shutout ball for the final 3 innings.
Horacio Ramirez will make a rehab start for Richmond on Saturday. Hopefully he will get pounded and the Braves will figure out that he can't even get minor leaguers out, much less big leagers.
